Here are some study tips to help you through your exams.
Drink plenty of water.
Keep away from coffee and energy drinks. Caffeine is a stimulant that keeps you awake but makes you anxious and irritable. Stimulants stress the adrenals causing them to release adrenalin which, over time leads to fatigue.
Have plenty of sleep. Not only does it keep you looking handsome, it also helps with memory and concentration.
Do some exercise. You can divide it up into chunks during the day. Go for a walk, run or bike ride. Getting out and moving helps to release endorphins which are good for relieving stress.
Fuel your body, eat healthy meals. Try and stay away from junk food. Eat small meals regularly, including breakfast. Make sure you include protein and carbs in your meals. Have snacks such as nuts, berries, carrots or fruit. Sugary snacks makes your blood sugar levels rise and fall causing your body to crash.
Take deep breaths during study or an exam. Oxygen helps invigorate the brain and is a proven stress reliever.
